Charbray & Charbray infused Show & Sale incorporating an All Breeds Weaner Show & Sale a great success!
Our 8th annual Charbray & Charbray infused show & sale incorporating an All Breeds weaner show & sale was held on Friday,26th May 2023 at the Monto Selling Complex. This special sale saw 1465 head come to hand from both local and away areas. The great lines of cattle were judged by Mr Tony Pearce, Tony had some tough decisions to make when it came to class winners as there were so many deserving pens on offer.
The quality lines of cattle saw an increased amount of buyers present on the day, with prices across the board firm to other markets for the week.
We would once again just like to say a big thank you to our vendors for intrusting us with the sale of your cattle, to the buyers for attending our sale and to our sponsors for your continued support. Your generosity is greatly appreciated!
Congratulations to Rod & Tina McLaughlan who won Champion Pen of Males in the Charbray section of the sale. The winning pen also won the Weaner steer class.

A hot topic this week has been the Eastern Young Cattle Indicator, as prices across the eastern states drop. The indicator is a fair way from the near record it reached this time last year.
