Monto Fortnightly Fat & Store Sale Market Report 29th January 2025

Kellco Rural Agencies Fortnightly Fat & Store sale drew a yarding of 1339 head this week. Cattle were drawn from Thangool, Biloela, Harrami, Mt Perry, Boyne Vally, Calliope, Baralaba, Moura, & all local areas. In line with other selling centres this week, prices for export slaughter cattle could not maintain that of last sales elevated rates compounded by the absence of one major processor. All classes of steers sold to strong demand along with good demand for weaner & feeder heifers.
