Monto’s fortnightly fat and store sale saw a mixed quality yarding of 541 head come to hand. Cattle were drawn from all local areas, as well as the Boyne Valley, Thangool, and Biloela.  A good quality run of fat cattle met firm demand. Weaner cattle presented with plenty of weight and condition and couldn’t maintain rates of last sale in line with other selling centres around the state.
