Average Liveweight Results of Fat & Store Sale – Steers, Heifers, Cows and Bulls

Cows & Calves Average $/Head - $1940.00
Monto’s fortnightly fat and store sale saw a yarding of 421 head come to hand. Cattle were drawn from all local areas, as well as the Boyne Valley, Thangool, and Biloela. A good sample of fat cattle came to hand along with a very good run of heavy weaners. The market was dearer across the export cattle & remained firm for all other classes. With good increases experienced in the higher content cattle.
