Average Liveweight Results of Fat & Store Sale – Steers, Heifers, Cows, Cows & Calves and Bulls

Average $/Head – $657.03

392 head yarded for this weeks at the KellCo Rural Agencies Monto fortnightly Fat & Store Sale. A very good offering of fat cattle sold to a market 20-40 cents dearer across the board. A mixed quality yarding of lightweight cattle showing a higher amount of Bos Indicus content came to hand. Lightweight steers sold close to firm for the quality offered while lightweight weaner heifers sold to a softer market especially for the plainer type of those with higher Bos Indicus content.
