Weaner steers sell to $1970 at Monto
Numbers grew to 1137 cattle for the fortnightly fat & store sale. As with other centres the fat market struggled to remain at previous rated while the better end of the lightweight cattle met very firm demand. Cattle in higher brahman content could not maintain rates of the previous sale. A very good quality yarding of backgrounders & feeders came to hand with cattle drawn from Biloela, Thangool, Theodore, Camboon, Boyne Valley & all local areas.
