Kellco Charity Friday at Chinchilla Grandfather Clock Campdraft

KellCo Rural Agencies and the Chinchilla Grandfather Clock Campdraft have once again come together to raise over $65,000 for Charity at the annual KellCo Rural Agencies Charity Friday.

KellCo in conjunction with The Chinchilla Campdraft Committee hold their annual Charity Friday at the The Grandfather Clock donating $10 for every run, a Calcutta and profits from cap sales all going to a worth cause each year. This year the committee chose to keep the fundraising efforts local with proceeds from the day all going to local Chinchilla family, the Coleman’s. The Coleman's 8 year old daughter, Mackenzie, has unfortunately received the unthinkable and devastating diagnosis of an inoperable brain tumor. The Coleman family will receive close to $15,000 raised from Charity Friday. We wish them every comfort and blessings through this difficult time.

In addition to the Charity Friday this year the KellCo team helped coordinate a charity auction for Chinchilla Campdraft President Daniel Lithgow and Family who have spent over 5 weeks in Hospital in Brisbane with their newborn baby Hugh. The horse industry came together to get behind one of their own with an impressive catalogue of goods and services, the sale was interfaced with AuctionsPlus who generously donated the use of their platform. The Charity Auction was a huge success raising over $50,000 for the Lithgow family. KellCo would like to thank all those that donated to this worthy cause.
