KellCo Rural Agencies Fortnightly 2nd Feeder Sale saw a very strong yarding of 1199 head. Cattle were drawn from all local areas along with Biloela, Goovigen, Thangool & gin Gin. An excellent line of cattle saw very strong competition across all categories. A terrific run of steers 400-500kg have topped at 350c/kg to average 332c across flat backs and high content Brahman steers. Trade weight feeders topped 365c with most in the 350-360c for high 300kg. Heavy weight feeder heifers have sold to 306.2c/kg at av 280c/kg with a number of pens showing high bos inducus content. Trade weight heifers have topped at 312.2c/kg at average of 268c.kg.
